SOLD A Tunbridge Entertainment - 27th September 2008 We are pleased to announce details of our eighth Tunbridge Ware Day, to be held in The Yorke Suite at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells on Saturday 27th September.The day will be devoted to leisure in Georgian and Victorian Tunbridge Wells and will feature some of the souvenirs produced at the time. The day will commence with coffee and a chance to view our Selling Exhibition of Tunbridge Ware, which will run throughout the day. The morning session will include an illustrated lecture by Dr Ian Beavis of Tunbridge Wells Museum. Leisure and Tourism in Tunbridge Wells’ History. This will be followed by: Breaded fingers of fish with tartare sauce Buffet pork pies with Branston pickle Leaves of Little Gem with chargrilled Caesar chicken Peking duck pancakes with plum sauce Puff pastry savouries filled with brie & redcurrant Baked potato skins & sour cream dip ***** Strawberries & cream on shortbread Blackberry & Bramley apple pies ***** Tea and Coffee ![]() The afternoon session will include an illustrated lecture by Dianne Tunbridge Ware: A Present from Tunbridge Wells The day will conclude with tea. Please note admission to this event is by ticket only. There will be a charge at the concessionary rate of £25 per head for existing Tunbridge Ware customers, £10 of which will be refunded on the first purchase of £100 or more made per person on the day. For participants who are not existing Tunbridge Ware customers there will be a charge of £40 per head, with a similar refund available on purchases.
